Deposits to a prisoner's trust account can be made by bank transfer through Corrections. Include the PRN as the reference. Money can be used for approved grocery items and authorised property purchases. Trust accounts are capped at $200 and spending is limited to $70 per week.
Every prison has its own booking system. You'll need photo ID and approved visitor status. Children can visit with a guardian in most prisons.
EPrisoner lets you email a prisoner — the message is printed and delivered by mail staff within 1–2 working days. Replies come via standard prison mail. The subject line must contain the prisoner's full name and PRN.
